About
We are a group of students that are dedicated to climbing both indoors and outdoors. We climb for both recreational and competitive purposes.
Our club exists to serve as a meetup for other climbers or those who wish to try climbing for their first time. By joining the club you will have access to all of our gear including guidebooks, harnesses, shoes, ropes, helmets, quickdraws, and crashpads. The club takes several large planned outdoor climbing trips per semester as well as many smaller ones. Southern Illinois has several climbing destinations within 2 hours that offer many unique types of climbing.
Our existing club members (as well as the sport) are very welcoming and inclusive to newcomers and we would like to show you the ropes. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of our officers.
